Dr. Anthony Moore, executive director of Advanced Academics, and Dr. Shemeka McClung, principal of Callaway High School, have been accepted into the 2025–2026 Prospective Superintendent Leadership Academy (PSLA) with the Mississippi School Boards Association. They will attend monthly training sessions covering a wide range of topics essential to effective superintendent leadership.

The PSLA is a yearlong program designed to prepare potential candidates for superintendent positions in Mississippi’s public schools. Participants receive intensive, in-depth preparation for the challenges and responsibilities of serving as a public school superintendent.

This year, 30 candidates were selected to participate in the Academy.
