Peeples Crowns New Spelling Bee Champion!

Peeples Middle School students showed off their spelling skills this week during our annual Spelling Bee. The competition was spirited, the words were challenging, and our scholars rose to the occasion with determination and confidence. Our participants were Amiriyana Cavett, Journey Henderson, Roslyn McBeth, Tre’unta Price, Kingston Rimmer, and Amin Young.

After an exciting final round, Journey Henderson spelled her way to first place and was named the 2025 School Spelling Bee Champion. She will go on to represent Peeples at the District Spelling Bee on January 24. We know she will make our school proud!

Congratulations are also in order for our second-place winner, Amin Young, who kept the competition intense and engaging until the very end.

We are proud of each participant for stepping up, trying their best, and showing great sportsmanship. Great work, Hornets—and good luck at District, Journey!
